A busy weekend coming up. Rye Poets perform at Nunhead Cemetery’s annual Open Day on Saturday, giving voice to our poems inspired by that eternal subject: death. You’ll find us in the chapel at 11.40am.
Then Sunday is a change of tune to the buzz of bees when Rye Poets join in the Homage to Bees during Dulwich Artitsts’ Open House. Performances of our bee-related poetry will be performed at two venues. See detail above. In addition, a collaborative sound installation produced by David Clark Allen plays throughout the weekend at 264 Upland Road, appearing to emanate from a honeycomb. Extraordinary.
